Vertiv Avocent HMX High Performance KVM Extender System

The Vertiv Avocent HMX product family is a high-performance KVM extender system designed to provide remote access and centralized control of computing resources over IP networks. Available as transmitter and receiver units, HMX devices support DVI-D video channels, USB connectivity, digital audio and SFP-based long-distance extension. The platform enables secure, remote placement of computers in controlled environments while delivering high-quality digital video and real-time performance. Management is centralized for streamlined administration, and features across the family include VNC support, hotkey switching, security options (such as disabling non-HID devices) and peripheral support for USB mass storage, keyboard and mouse. The HMX line is suited for broadcast, control room and collaborative screen management applications and forms part of a high-performance digital matrix solution.
