BRADY PermaSleeve B-342 heat-shrink tubing is a printable, full-circle sleeve designed for permanent wire and cable identification and insulation protection. Made from irradiated polyolefin with a 3:1 shrink ratio, these industrial-grade sleeves resist abrasion, chemicals, fuels, oil, UV exposure and wide temperature extremes (documented range to -55°C to +135°C in variant data). Clear, legible text can be produced using thermal transfer and dot matrix print methods compatible with BMP21, BMP21-PLUS, BMP21-LAB, M210, M210-LAB and M211 printers. The material is described as fade resistant and fire retardant and is listed as a UL Recognized Component to UL224; RoHS transition/compliance is also referenced in variant information. Thermal transfer ribbons are referenced for best results (examples listed in variant data include R6600, R4300, R4502S, R6000, R6700 and R5000 series), and any industrial-grade heat gun may be used to shrink the markers. Suitable use cases include wire harness identification, control and electrical panels, and general wire and cable marking in demanding environments.
