This StarTech.com active DisplayPort to VGA adapter cable converts digital DisplayPort (DP/DP++) sources to analog VGA displays and projectors. The slim, flexible cable design integrates the adapter chip into the VGA connector to reduce clutter and minimize signal loss while providing tidy workstation installs. It features a latching DisplayPort connector for a secure host connection and a screw-locking VGA connector to prevent accidental disconnection. The cable supports DisplayPort 1.2 (HBR2) with EDID & DDC pass-through, delivering resolutions up to 2048x1280, 1920x1200 and 1920x1080 (1080p) at 60Hz. Compatible with workstations, desktops (AMD/Nvidia), laptops, small form factor computers and docking stations.
