The ICY DOCK ToughArmor series provides a rugged, full-metal mobile rack solution for 2.5\" SAS and SATA HDDs and SSDs that installs in a standard 5.25\" external bay. Common features across the line include removable EZ-Slide trays for easy drive installation and maintenance, individual drive status LEDs with Active Power Technology (APT) that powers LEDs and cooling only when a drive is present, Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) for drive stability, and secure Eagle-hook tray locks. Dual 40mm cooling fans deliver targeted airflow to keep drives cool under load, and the all-metal construction helps dissipate heat and provide a durable enclosure for demanding environments. These enclosures are suited for RAID arrays, compact servers, workstations, media servers, and other applications requiring reliable hot-swap storage and robust mechanical protection.
