The StarTech.com SLSATAADAP6 is a 6" Slimline SATA to SATA adapter cable (F/M) that enables connection of Slimline SATA optical drives to standard SATA motherboard and power supply connections. Features a Slimline 13-pin SATA (data & power) receptacle (female) on one end and a standard 22-pin SATA (data & power) connector (male) on the other. The cable is 6 inches (0.5 ft) in length, constructed with 18 AWG copper conductor for reliable data transfer and power delivery, and comes in red. It supports SATA data transfer rates and is RoHS/REACH/WEEE compliant. Packaged quantity: 1 each. Backed by StarTech.com's lifetime warranty. Compatible with optical drives and motherboards; reduces strain on drive connectors and allows flexible cable routing when positioning Slimline SATA drives within system cases.
